Changin' things up even MORE!

So in an effort to make Coffee and Ink the all-singing all-dancing crap of the world(Fight Club anyone?) I am MOVING the site.

Sooooo.... (trying for a new type of year)

Soooooooo....

Yeah...it's been a long long time since I've done anything meaningful on this blog. But things are going to change. I know I know, I've said that before, but this time I mean it. This time I'm enthusiastic about it because the technology has converged so that every thought I have at any time can be simultaneously broadcast across any medium I want. AND, as I was pondering things, as I like to do in the shower, I realized that Coffee and Ink is too good of a blog title to let go to waste like I have. Even if the thoughts I have are a single sentence, a twitter-like post, it will come here first. I have decided that anything I want put out into the ether will come arrive here first before I decide to distribute it elsewhere. Facebook has been ruined for me because of it's uber-gentrification. Twitter is great but sometimes I have more to say. I need this to be the one place where I can be the crazy person standing on a soapbox, or just need to document a good movie I saw. It all goes here first. I'm done letting this site be a wasteland chock full of year-end wrap-ups. I will bleed coffee and ink, because that's what it was intended to be in the first place.

So mainly because blogger has made it so easy, I picked a new design template for the blog. I think it's a bit easier to read so I'll stick with it until I get another wild hair and REALLY customize.

I also noticed my embedded music player no longer works...will fix that ASAP

Been gone for a while

So I've been gone for a while. I suppose it's part time-constraints, part lack of inspiration, part huh???. Nonetheless, this blog is not dead. Just figuring out where to go from here. Despite having a great month in March...(ex: Got engaged, had plenty of work)...the last few months have drug me down into feeling a bit uninspired...largely due to the nature of my career. I've been a bit disenchanted with my industry and the lack of creativity I've been able to exercise...especially considering my job is SUPPOSED to be about being creative.

The point is I feel like I'm in transition and am working thru the depressive thoughts that got me here. That is not to say I don't have moments of joy and happiness...it's just a bit off balance.

Regardless, in staying true to form I leave you with a really nice track I heard that is from the forthcoming Kanye West album rumored to be called "Good Ass Job". This is called "Power"
